How can policies of your government either contribute or help to reduce the problem of global warming?

Currently, as we all concern, the problem called “global warming” is becoming more and more serious. As the release of greenhouse gases increases, there lies an urgent issue in front of us-creatures living on earth.
Above all, how come we have this tough problem at hand?
Well, there are so many factors which lead to this kind of problem. But among all those factors, the one contributes most should be the abuse of fossil fuels as well as other nonrenewable resources.
From the multimedia we know that the climate has been changed largely by us-the only intelligent living thing in the past 14 years. And over 50 percent of the top ten highest temperature years lie in these 14 years. Maybe you would think that it is no big deal. What we have to do is just try to get used to the increasing temperature, which luckily doesn’t increase too much.
It is not that simple! The temperature of the whole earth increases every 1 centigrade degree, and the temperature of the Antarctic will increase by 12 degrees! What’s worse, the global oceanic flow will be largely influenced, so will the globally aerodynamic flow of wind. As a consequence, many creatures will disappear from this planet and finally we bring an end to ourselves-human beings. Amazing, isn’t it?
The most effective thing our government can do is likely that to reduce the release of the greenhouse gases fundamentally.
How to achieve this goal?
First and foremost, proper laws limiting the releasing amount of greenhouse gases should be made by the government for the purpose of successfully getting rid of them. However, a new problem comes out that we may need to sacrifice the development of the industry in thus way. Well, that leads to the second point.
Secondly, create other environmentally friendly ways of energy supply instead of using those fossil fuels. This may be hard to achieve, but in order to save our only earth, we need to do so and we have to rush!
Furthermore, the government has the responsibility to alarm its people of the harm of greenhouse gases. Only every single person knows to do something and actually does something for his or her own planet, can we save the currently warm earth.
Last but not least, since all the things have its own value, the government should lead the industry to find ways to make full use of greenhouse gases.
Take carbon dioxide for example, the newly found usage of this particular gas is that we can change it into plastic via adding extremely high pressure and some other conditions on it.
In conclusion, as long as every of us make an effort to prevent global warming, and as long as we fight against global warming along with our government, nothing will defeat us. Finally, success belongs to us!

i think that the structure used here is nice. Especially the part where you backed up your claim with evidence from the video and from there on, bring up your viewpoints. A very systematic and clear presentation of the problem and solutions.
